Keep the faucet clean, even when your hands aren’t. Tap anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Touch20® Technology can also help you conserve water. As you prepare food or wash up in the sink, it’s easy to turn the water flow off when it's not needed between tasks.

“We've been using this faucet for about 4 months. The styling and stainless steel finish complements our appliances nicely. The faucet, spray head and control handle feel solid. The spray head easily comes off the spout by tilting it slightly to release the magnet, then reattaches tightly. The sprayer hose is more than long enough to reach all corners of our large double sink and beyond. The one design flaw I can see is that the control handle has the same touch technology as the faucet. It takes some getting used to as you can't just tap the water flow up or down a notch. You must grasp and hold (as noted in the instructions) to avoid inadvertently turning the water off. The unit uses batteries and has a small blue indicator light in the black band at the base of the faucet. Overall, very stylish and a neat gadget to have when you want to turn the water on or off while your hands are messy and/or full. ”

“High quality with very nice features. Having the ability to pause the water stream or stop it just by touching the spout or handle comes in handy whether you are washing your hands or doing dishes. You can save money with this feature. The faucet looks very good with nice styling. It comes with PEX hoses and very easy connection features.
The faucet is designed for 4 to 18 spread between the handle and spout, but I do not recall that being specified in the advertisements. Our large single bowl sink caused the two to be mounted at opposite sides at the rear of the sink--20 apart center to center. I soon discovered that the spout grounding wire and the LED spout indicator cable would not reach that distance. The grounding wire is a single conductor so it was easy enough to splice and solder some additional wire to span the distance.
The LED cable is a three conductor cable with a jack and receptacle connection. To span the extra distance I purchased an extension cable from Radio Shack--designed for use with stereo connections/computer connections etc.
The faucet works well, simply and effectively. No leaks.
Worth the money!”

“Just got a makeover for my kitchen. This sink hardware by delta is perfect with my granite counter and stainless steel sink. It has a pull out cord with a convertible spray nozzle, and motion sensor on off switch. Basically means you put the faucet on with the handle to set the temperature your water will be at when you use the motion sensor. Then with the tap of the faucet it goes on. Another tap and it goes off. Pretty cool.”

“I have really enjoyed the Delta faucet: it is well made and works just as I had hoped with the touch technology. The cost from FaucetDirect was 40% less than what my plumber could obtain with a five week wait. Service was terrific, less than 5 days from order to delivery. I would rate the faucet itself a 5 star but I haven't had it long enough to evaluate the longevity of the batteries which could be a minor issue. As far as how it actually works, it is everything I had wanted with touch on/off and a single hole installation.”

“Being skeptical about this faucet I had to try it out for a few months before I reviewed it.
Pros: It does work, touch it and you have water on or off.
Less water marks and hand messes on faucet.
Sprayer from faucet is a great feature
Saves on water and is just cool.
Cons: To expensive and soap dispencer is cheesy plastic with not much over hang for soap to come out into sink.
Faucet uses batteries.not sure on the life of batteries yet
It takes a few days to get used to it and your guest will have the most trouble and will turn it off by the handle, this sometimes turns the water back on for them, can be annoying or funny. With all high profile faucets and thier high design, they do splash so its recommended a deep sink to help this. All in all I really like it so far. It does make a shut off noise if pressure is turned all the way up but not to annoying, but noticed. Im under the impression that if installed corectly it will work like a regular faucet if batteries die.”

“We recently purchased the Touch faucet when remodeling our kitchen. It was a splurge as it was about twice the price of other faucets... but we LOVE it. I can set the temperature and then go about preparing my meal and simply touch it to turn it on and off. I find this so helpful when I am preparing raw chicken or meat and I can simply touch with my wrist or back of my hand and then wash my hands without getting any mess or contaminants on the faucet handle. The faucet arrives in several pieces with detailed instructions. I was able to assemble and install it myself in about an hour. If you like to cook and use your sink often, you will love this faucet.”

You may choose to operate the faucet as you would any standard single-handle faucet by moving the handle to the on and off positions. You may also tap it on and off with a deliberate touch, like that of playing the piano.
You control water flow manually with the handle, just as you would operate any standard faucet. When operating the faucet in “Touch” mode, the water flow setting remains the same as the previous use.

Touch2O® Technology incorporates an automatic water flow shut-off after four minutes if the water is left running with no activity.
No. The installation process is just like installing a regular pull-down faucet with an addition of one more component and a few easy-to-connect wires. Because the faucet works on batteries, there is no need to hire an electrician to assist with the installation. Even the batteries are included. With DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, the integrated supply lines mean everything is included in the box.
You know that static discharge you experience in the winter after walking on carpet and then touching a metal object? That is the result of a characteristic for storing energy in the human body called “capacitance.” Touch2O® Technology uses capacitance sensors to detect human touch and turn the faucet on and off. But don’t worry, it won’t give you a static poke!
